I saw the sad news of the passing of the great Dennis Van Der Meer.
My thoughts are with his wife Pat and his many close friends in Hilton Head and around the world. He made such an impact in the sport he loved. But more importantly he made an impact on and touched people’s lives. He was a great people person and I always enjoyed being around him and feeling the positive energy that he produced.
He will be missed by the tennis world but the legacy he left behind will continue through all of the people he touched during his life.
May he rest in peace.
