Dave Miley is a very popular and successful tennis writer. He has written seven tennis books in his time at the ITF and the ITF Advanced Coaches Manual is regarded as a bible for coaches working in performance player development. It is used in the ITF advanced coaching course and has been published in 20+ languages.
Dave also created the ITF Coaching and Sports Science Review in 1992 and remained its editor for 25 years. He also was the person that oversaw the introduction of the successful Tennis iCoach in 2007 as a cutting edge distance learning platform for coaches worldwide, the first of its kind in international sports.
Dave oversaw the organisation of the ITF world coach conference and helped grow it from 100 participants in 91 to 800+ participants in 2013.
Dave has also been an active contributor to tennis and sports science journals and has had numerous articles published in tennis and sports science/medicine journals including twice in the British Journal of Sports medicine.
In addition, he is a popular speaker and has presented at a number of high profile tennis and international sports conferences over the past 30 years.
