Busy tennis day in London yesterday. I watched some practice at Wimbledon and then headed over to the LTA coaches conference and saw my good friends Louis Cayer and Mark Kovacs present. They are both always so practical in what they deliver. The art of a top presenter is to make the complicated things simple and Louis and Mark do that very well.
I later watched some of the top juniors playing at the pre Wimbledon grade 1 tournament including Georgia Drummy, the daughter of an Irish friend. She lost a tough match in 3 sets.
I finished the day with a nice dinner with Rohan Goetzke from the IMG academy in Florida and Mark Kovacs and Mark’s wife in Wimbledon Village where we tried to solve the challenges facing world tennis over a couple of glasses of wine.
