I am in Miami this week attending the Miami Open.
I had the chance to watch some of the qualifying matches on Monday and to see first hand the new home for the tournament. Congratulations to IMG for the way the venue had been put together. I personally loved the atmosphere at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne but the Hard Rock Stadium has so much more space. The centre court was very impressive and I was pleasantly surprised at how the organisers effectively blended a top tennis event into a football stadium environment.
Looking forward to the start of the main draw tomorrow.
