I had a very busy but productive last weekend. I got back to London on Friday after a whirlwind three-nation trip around Europe. Then I attended and presented as a speaker at the women’s tennis coaches’ association conference in Eastbourne. Sarah Stone and her team are doing a great job  to support and promote female coaches at all levels of tennis. We need more actions to attract females into coaching and I was happy to support this conference.

I finished the weekend with a gentle hit with my son Hugo at the All England Club, Wimbledon, followed by a beer on the balcony. As you can see, the club and the courts looks great and all is ready to welcome the tennis world next week.

My grandfather played the championships in 1927 and as I sat on the balcony after playing I reflected on how fortunate I am (and proud) to be a member of this great club.
