I have so much respect for Ion Tiriac, and his letter to Dave Haggerty raises important issues related to how the ITF is currently being managed. I hope he is successful in getting the information he requested.
From my experience it will not be so easy. I am a nominated candidate for ITF president and one month ago I requested to know how many full time staff or consultants are currently working in each department. The ITF has refused to provide this. I also asked to see some current financial information but again have not received any. This lack of transparency is one of the reasons I decided to be a candidate.
