I just left Bahrain after a very productive two day ATF Administrators Workshop. Twenty-five nations were in attendance and the Bahrain Federation Team, under the direction of Faud Alrowaie, did a great job with the organisation.
The Tennis Federation President, His Excellency Sheik Abdul Azis, also attended much of the workshop as did ATF Président Anil Khanna and ATF Secretary General Hazem Adam.
My former colleague, Miguel Crespo, attended on behalf of the ITF and it was nice to catch up with him. One of the most interesting parts of the meeting was an interactive session on 12 and under tennis which followed a presentation by Mike Barrell, from Evolve Tennis, who is such an expert on this area. Now heading to Cairo for the ITF African Coach Conference.
