I arrived last night in Doha after a long flight from USA where I was attending the PTR annual coach conference. I then attended the ATF board meeting in the morning which was chaired by ATF President, Anil Khanna, and which was attended by the host nation tennis President, Nasser Al Khelaifi, along with special guests, Ulrich Klaus, President of the German Tennis Federation and Ivo Kaderka, the President of the Czech Tennis Federation.
Following the Board meeting, the ATF Board members had the pleasure to attend the final of the Qatar Open WTA event between Simona Halep and Elise Mertens which Mertens won, in a very close match, 6/3 in the third set.
